This is a line from Tuna and Tea by Jason Reynolds.It holds so much truth. It’s a strange feeling to come to grips with the fact that the cool of the city has infiltrated us all, but it’s not always a bad thing. It just reminds me that I am often a composite of the people I love to watch, hence why I love to watch them. Most of us exist somewhere between being vain, and being personally invested. And all of us shoot for cool, one way or another.
